Wayne Jameson lives on Prince Edward Island, off New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. PEI is renowned for its red sand beaches, lighthouses, farmland, and delicious seafood—the perfect setting for cruising in his souped-up black Chevrolet Corvette.

Wayne, how did you become a gearhead?

I love my Corvette! I usually go to the car shows in Moncton, New Brunswick, which are held in the Moncton Coliseum. I am also a member of the PEI Corvette Club, which brings Corvette owners together for events around the island.

Tell us more about your Corvette - what’s going on under the hood?

My 2007 Corvette is a base model with many updates, including a custom vented supercharger hood, custom front splitter, side skirts, Z06-style rear spoiler, Eagle Eyes tail lights, Z06-style aftermarket quarter panels, and 1-inch wheel spacers. I also replaced all the lights with LEDs and and added a Hypertech tuner, a Jet Powr-Flo mass air sensor, and BBK cold air intake.

What are your favourite upgrades? What are you planning on upgrading next?

My favourite mod has to be the bonnet. I like my ’vette to be different from everyone else’s, and it certainly is.

I purchased my headers, X-pipe, and power flow sensor from TDot Performance. As for future mods, I would like to do a cam (but I’m not sure yet how I can hide it from my wife!).

We love seeing your passion for your ride! Thanks for telling us about it!
